The gallery Hagemeier is resident in Frankfurt since 1979. The exhibtion has its main focus on artists of the German expressionism whereby the main attention is given to the so-called forgotten respective missing generation. The second-called generation are painters and sculptors like Eduard Bargheer, Ida Kerkovius, Karl Heinz Krause, Josef Scharl, Werner Scholz, Heinrich Steiner and many others. Artists like Carl Hofer, Gabriele Münter and Karl Schmidt-Rottluff are also on offer. Furthermore the gallery Hagemeier trades with original graphic arts of international artists such as Chagall, Marini, Miro and Poliakoff.
